Education and Development Research Council (EDRC)  is a Reaearch and Development organization administered by a group of professionals including teachers, researchers, and educationists working at the national and international levels. It is a government registered non-profit research and development organization working for the expansion of education, conducting multi-disciplinary academic and development research for individuals and groups, and operating relief and rehabilitation services for the disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Bangladesh.

The EDRC regularly publishes  03 Printed Journal Quarterly, and  and 02 online Journals biannually.The Journal of EFL Education and Research (JEFLER), a biannual journal encourages teachers, trainers, researchers, instructional designers, e-learning developers, and practitioners to participate in our academic conferences, and to publish in our peer-reviewed journals in all dimensions of Education and Academic Research.

We believe in the power of research and dissemination of knowledge. For our journals, we welcome research papers in all areas of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) education, education management, language education policy, information technology and related fields. The journal's target readership includes academics and training practitioners located across the globe.

The Journal of EFL Education and Research (JEFLER) seeks reflective papers which bring together pedagogy and theories of EFL education management and policies.
